By far, the improvement made on the blue iPod Nano is the screen. The way it is designed makes it even easier to find the song you want to hear. Now you can turn it over and view all your album art in the same way you do on iTunes. This is an application known as Cover Flow.
In addition to the Cover Flow function, you can also press and hold the Center button. This action will also help you browse by album or artist. After you find the song you want (or more than one song), press the Center button to add your selection(s) to your on-the-go playlist.
The actual menus of the new blue iPod Nano look a bit different as well. For instance, this new menu screen design shows “now playing,” the album art, and then the name of the song and the progress bar.
That is not all! You can also go through your digital pictures (7,000-14,000) horizontally and watch your favorite movies. It is truly like holding a plasma television right in the palm of your hand!
In addition, the screen is very useful for games. It responds to the way you move, which makes your game playing experience extremely immersive and addictive. You will find that playing games on this unit is quite a blast!
The blue iPod Nano comes with Maze, which is a fun challenge. The object of this game is to work your way through vast mazes by tilting and moving your iPod.
